The relation between Permaculture and the Transition Movement

Transition movement started life as a permaculture project. The movement has since gone viral across the world and is touching millions of peoples lives. The heart of transition are the permaculture principals and ethics, yet these principals and ethics are often accepted as an unspoken element of transition. This evening you will get an introduction to permaculture, its ethics and principals, and its close relation to the Transition Town movement in the task of creating a more resilient world.

The evening will be facilitated by Rakesh, a permaculture designer and teacher from UK. He has many years experience of working with and teaching various transition initiatives, and is presently the main permaculture teacher for Transition Town Brixton.
